Inspired botanical and elemental art to awaken wild wonder
I started creating charcoal drawings and watercolor paintings over old dictionary pages. I love how the definitions weaves with the images to tell a story. It is a fun way to preserve and upcycle dictionaries while drawing the viewer in to an experience, perhaps conjuring nostalgia or provoking thought and inspiration. Each painting is an original one of a kind work of art. The ideas are inspired by the ever changing moments of the seasons of life and nature.
